No princípio eram retalhos. O título quase foi "retalhes". Retalhes nem tão pequenos, pinçados ao longo de meses de quarentena precoce. Não havia pandemia, nem cloroquina. A cada saída do metrô uma procura por pedras, ferragens, sucatas ou qualquer imagem que pudesse traduzir na capa do disco as várias camadas do nosso diálogo sonoro.

“faixa cinco” é uma seleção de conversas que vazaram. É aquilo que avizinha, ressoa e invade, fluindo e fundindo diferentes personalidades dos instrumentos. São oito faixas que orbitam em torno da música título, uma luz que deixa as sombras entrarem. Sintam-se em casa.


In the beginning they were flaps. And “flaps” almost became the name of the album, pinched along an early quarantine. There was no pandemic, nor chloroquine. At each subway exit, a search for rocks, hardware, scraps or any image that would translate the various layers of our sound dialogue on the cover of the album.

“faixa cinco” (track five) is a selection of leaked conversations. It is what surrounds, resonates, and invades, flowing and merging different personalities of the instruments. Eight tracks orbit around the title song, a light that lets the shadows in. Make yourself at home.
